Our mission is to help our students grow into being the best they can be, by guiding them to find their passion, pushing them to become stronger individuals while instilling the value of teamwork, and showing how their actions can help achieve their dreams.
At Miss Lore’s your child will not only become stronger physically but grow mentally and emotionally. They will learn that if you want something, you must work for it. In class we will focus on building overall strength and flexibility, discipline, and a positive self-esteem. We will give them the tools to succeed in dance, while providing a positive, loving environment. No matter if your child aspires to be a doctor, a teacher or a dancer, dance teaches healthy balance and life skills.
In a world full of constant media knowledge and technological stimulation, everyone needs to be able to step away for a moment. We all need something we are passionate about to take our mind off of our daily routine and let our emotions out. Dance can achieve this. It takes our focus away from everyday thoughts and directs us to the music, the movement and the artistry in motion. It is a great feeling when you let go and find something you are passionate about.
“Dancing allows me to explore myself in so many ways, to learn about my limitations and strengths, my ability to cope with adversity and to go farther than I thought I could. You find out what you’re made of.”
— Andrew Asnes
Our creative, original style of dance and choreography here at Miss Lore’s is not only current, but also unique and award-winning. The students of Miss Lore’s have been given the opportunity to perform around the country. They have performed at the White House in Washington D.C. and Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Throughout the years, our competitive team “Miss Lore’s Dance Rage” has competed in Myrtle Beach, New York, Atlantic City, Virginia Beach, New Orleans, St. Louis, Connecticut, Toronto, Daytona Beach, and Las Vegas. Many students have also won scholarships, to further their dancing experience. These are not the only benefits the students receive at MISS LORE’S. They are given the very best in dance and floor gymnastics education, and are endowed with the spirit of self-confidence and self-esteem which will lead them to a happy and successful life. Although the technical aspects of dance are important to us at Miss Lore’s, what matters most is the fun our students have and the life-long friends they make. We believe that our children are the future and with the proper training and values, will make the world a better place for all.
